Summary:

Former special ops-turned private-investigator Cam Hardy leaves a trail of broken hearts wherever he goes. He's all charm and sex appeal, and who can blame him for putting it to good use? Besides, it works damn well on the stunning and tough-as-nails makeup artist Drea Sanford. Only this time, Cam may be in over his head... Drea is trying to keep her naughty affair with Cam a secret. After all, he's Harbor City's version of a Casanova...if Casanova had a motorcycle. When Cam makes their hot little liaison known to the public, however, Drea vows never to have sex with him again. Then one of her clients turns up dead. Now Drea is suspect number one—and she needs Cam's help. But sleeping with him is one thing...trusting him is quite another.

Review:

I read this book while I was on vacation and it was a perfect vacation read. It was a very short and light hearted book, but I wouldn't say this was the most interesting or action packed book I've ever read. What I didn't like about this book is what tends to happen in most Contemporary books. One of the characters thinks they're not good enough for the other, they go back and forth about 100 times, and decides it's best if they just leave in the end. No! That is never the answer! If you love someone you work it out!! The ending wrapped up nicely, though I don't think we ever found out what happened to the bad guy, Diamond Tommy. (What kind of name is that? Why not just Tommy?) If you're looking for a quick romance/drama read I'd definitely suggest this one.

Side Note: I didn't realize this book was was a series. I was wondering why it didn't go into much detail of the other characters. It can be read as a stand alone book though
